Structure of the Joint Study Programme

Joint Study programme Mechatronics is structured depending on logic interrelationship. Exclusive attention is drawn towards the deepness and particularity of mechatronic system research studies, which require high quality knowledge in system mechanics, measurement of signal sensors and their strengthening methods as well as understanding how the means of electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and smart materials are managed and designed.

The duration of the joint study programme Mechatronics is 2 years (4 semesters). The joint study programme Mechatronics would be coordinated as follows: the first and second semesters are coordinated by VGTU in Lithuania, the third and fourth ones by TU Braunschweig in Germany.

In addition, the course projects are requested in the second and third semesters.

The study field of this programme – Technological Sciences; study area – Manufacturing Engineering, study programme – Mechatronics. The joint programme totals in 120 ECTS credits. Each semester consists of 30 ECTS credits (1 ECTS credit is equal to 26,67self-study hours).
